You Give Me Something.

So far, 2012 has been great. Though I have already gotten sick, I am thankful for the outpouring of love from my friends and family. I have also seen so many of my favorite people this month. I am so blessed and constantly reminded of His overwhelming love for me.
Last night I went on my first spontaneous adventure of the year- Los Angeles to see James Morrison.

James Morrison is my favorite artist and he is such a wonderful performer. It really is possible- his voice is even more sultry in real life. Andrew, Brian, and I were able to get into The Sayers Club for an intimate, acoustic concert and he even signed his set list for each of us. I also got a “x” on mine, and Andrew tells me that’s a sign of endearment in the British world. Kisses, perhaps. Speaking of kisses- after I shook his hand, I leaned in for a hug, and he gave me a kiss on the cheek before hugging me. Go me.
I only hoped for him to sing two songs, “Won’t Let Go” and my favorite song ever, “You Give Me Something.” He sang both of them- I was swooned and my night was complete.

Or so I thought. We also met up with J&J for late night tacos and burritos and that topped it all off- definitely a night to remember. Thank you Andrew and Brain for a wonderful evening! :)
